services details

Controllers and meters designed for panel mounting, ideal for a variety of laboratory or industrial applications.

Features: Automatic or manual temperature compensation and compatible with a wide range of pH electrodes.

A pH Meter is a device used for potentiometrically measuring the pH, which is either the concentration or the activity of hydrogen ions, of an aqueous solution. It usually has a glass electrode plus a calomel reference electrode, or a combination electrode.

pH meters are usually used to measure the pH of liquids, though special probes are sometimes used to measure the pH of semi-solid substances

sep-iconTDS Meter & Conductivity Meter

A TDS Meter indicates the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) of a solution, i.e. the concentration of dissolved solids in it. Since dissolved ionized solids such as salts and minerals increase the conductivity of a solution, a TDS meter measures the conductivity of the solution and estimates the TDS from that.

An electrical conductivity meter (EC meter) measures the electrical conductivity in a solution. It is commonly used in hydroponics, aquaculture and freshwater systems to monitor the amount of nutrients, salts or impurities in the water.

The pH of a solution indicates how acidic or basic (alkaline) it is. The pH term translates the values of the hydrogen ion concentration - which ordinarily ranges between about 1 and 10 x -14 gram-equivalents per litre - into numbers between 0 and 14.

The majority of pH electrodes available commercially are combination electrodes that have both glass H+ ion sensitive electrode and additional reference electrode conveniently placed in one housing.
